String of Pearls

I received a package the other day from Laura Huene BSN, RN, Founder and President of String of Pearls.

That package was full of wonderful gifts. Gifts that will help us cherish memories of Addison.
Also there was a book. The One Year Book of HOPE, by Nancy Gutherie.
It is filled with Devotions to help to grow closer to the Source of All Comfort. Opportunities to dig deeper into scripture.

String of Pearls Mission Statement

String of Pearls was created to provide a nurturing and safe place for families as they navigate the path following a fatal prenatal diagnosis that will result in the death of their baby prior to, or shortly after birth. The path between grief and hope is a difficult place to walk; our desire is to provide guidance, compassion and practical suggestions as plans to honor the life of pre-born babies are crafted. Each life has a story worthy of telling and we are here for support as stories are lovingly written.

The day I received the package was one of my "bad" (real bad) days. And it meant so much to me to receive it.
I am so very thankful for the Laura and the String of Pearls.
Thankful for her sharing her story of her daughter Pearl.
Thankful for her talking with me.
Thankful for all the gifts that she sent to my family and me.
Thankful for all the families she has helped.
I will be (at least I will do my best)sharing from the Book of Hope.
