Happy 16th Birthday COLBY!

April 7Th 1994

which seems almost like yesterday,

if it wasn't for ALL the memories I have of my son.

WOW look at how time flys................

I remember every single day we have spent together.

All the cute things he has done.

What a proud big brother he was..... (yea now they fight) & a good friend.

One of his friends, well I would say best friend, Jordon might not agree just because of that one time I remember at Tautphaus Park, when there was some not so nice little boys trying to start a fight with them and Colby walking right up to them and saying "HEY I AM BATMAN AND THIS IS ROBIN!!" I remember the look on Jordon's face...... LOL! Yes, there was a time when Colby thought he was BATMAN. And he was batman for at least a couple of years for Halloween!!!

I have to say I have enjoyed "almost" every second of watching my son grow up. But I sure wish the time could just slow down, Really I try not to blink, most days that is!!

We went to my nieces birthday party last month and Colby wasn't too cool to skate!!!

But really tries to stop me from taking pictures!!

He is so big.............

Getting a haircut.... He looks so different w/out his glasses

Can't believe he hates contacts so bad!

How he loves his momma,

if not so much right now,

really I know he does some where deep down!

No matter what THIS is how I will ALWAYS remember my "LITTLE MAN"!!

This is the age he was when he drew the nice pretty picture on the hood of my car and

was so very proud to come get mom from washing dishes to show me!!!

Right there on the hood was BIG lots of BIG circles in different colors of sidewalk chalk!!!

Oh how I wish I would have taken a picture of that!!

Have been getting around to posting this.....

2009

Took some great family pictures!

Had some good family visits!

Had fun making things for the new year!

Had fun making xmas presents this year!

And decor for the home

KarLee played some volleyball!

Had a really good team and coach!

Colby had lots of rodeo's!!

Had some falls, but was safe all year, no broken bones

Took 3rd in district for saddle bronc!

Not to bad for his rookie year!

He took 1st for "cutting" and

for 2010 is Wrangler All Star!

And we went on a cruise!

Really can't tell you who had the most fun?!

It was a blast! We drove to Cali and made a few stops

1st to Vegas

then to Hollywood , seen the "stars" on the boardwalk

Went to see John Force's shop!

It was a blast, Ryan showed us lots of places in CA!

Oh and ate at Bubby Gump's!!

So fun!

and the year we had to dig up our yard and

to put in a french drian all the way around our house to stop the flooding)

KarLee had a blast at Mackay's annual fish race!!

Had a wonderful 4th of July

(right after Ryan and I cleaned up our flooded basement)

My sister Brandy had to come home to get her

daughters my other sister brought back with her

after KarLee and her went to Missouri!!

Lots of 4 wheeling!

Spent time caming and hanging with family!

Had fun trips together!

Then we had County Fair...

And my youngest sister moved home!!!

GUESS WHAT????

So I have been sick.... tired...

sick... and very tired..

And this is why

Yes we are having a baby!! The doctor said the heart beat was strong!! Ryan will be a daddy Sept. 25 2010. 3 days before his b-day. Maybe the baby will come late??? Yes daddy is thinking blue! We are so very happy!! So are the kids!!

This is our friends family.

Ryan has been friends with Pete and Jen for a long time!

We just heard about Pete going to Haiti and wanted to post this

in support for him and his family and the group he is going with!

Many of you may have not heard but Pete has been invited to go with a group to Haiti on a relief workers trip, there is 12 guys going. They are going to help rebuild some of the homes in the outer borders of Porta Prince and train the Haitian men on masonry. This is a volunteer group and they have been getting sponsers from businesses and anybody that would like to donate. They are also delivering items the Haitian people need. If you are interested in reading more about his trip or would like to donate some money to Haiti and know where the money is going visit the website they have set up http://www.haitisakplen.com/ . Pete is both excited and anxious for this trip, he leaves Feb. 18th and will return on the 28th. Please keep these 12 men in your hearts until they return home safely!!
